Uttarakhand Floods, 2013

On 16th June 2013, devastating floods struck Uttarakhand, destroying hundreds of villages and affecting thousands of families. Homes were swept away, livelihoods were lost, and entire communities were left struggling for basic necessities.

In response to this tragedy, Serve Samman stepped forward through its branches in Rishikesh and Uttarkashi, working to identify the immediate needs of affected communities and arrange timely relief supplies.

Our teams helped provide essential items, including food, utensils, blankets, tarpaulins, medicines, and clothing, offering much-needed support to families who had lost so much. Every effort was guided by the desire to ease suffering, restore a sense of security, and remind those affected that they were not alone.

Jammu & Kashmir Floods, 2014

When devastating floods swept through Jammu and Kashmir in 2014, countless families found themselves displaced, with their homes, belongings, and livelihoods severely affected. The widespread destruction left communities facing uncertainty and an urgent need for assistance.

Serve Samman extended its support to flood-affected families by providing essential relief materials to help them through this difficult period. Our efforts focused on addressing immediate needs and offering a measure of comfort to those struggling in the aftermath of the disaster.
